All-Rounder Points

Understanding All-Rounder Points in Cricket

All-Rounder Points measure a player’s performance in both batting and bowling.

1. Points from Runs

Run Points = Player Runs

Every run adds a point.

2. Points from Wickets

Wicket Points = Total Wickets Taken × 10

Each wicket is worth 10 points.

3. Points for Man of the Match (MOM)

MOM Bonus = Number of MOM Awards × 10

Extra points for match-winning performances.

4. Deduction for Ducks

Duck Penalty = -1.1 points for each time the batsman scores 0

Penalizes innings with no contribution.

5. Deduction for Zero Wickets

Zero Wickets Penalty = Number of Matches with 0 Wickets × -1.1

5. Total All-Rounder Points

Total All-Rounder Points = Run Points + Wicket Points + MOM Bonus – Ducks – Eggs

This rewards players who contribute significantly with both bat and ball.
